Have you ever wanted to take a Reggaeton dance class? Are you looking for something fun to do? Then try my Open level Reggaeton class! This dance class is open to dancers who want to learn a fun combo in a fun and judge-free zone. Most importantly, you are dancing for a cause! All proceeds will be donated to those affected in Central America by Hurricane Eta.

Due to the pandemic, there are not many dance studios open, but that has not stopped people from continuing their dance education. There have been online dance classes where dancers can take class through zoom and other platforms. That is why I chose to host a dance class on Zoom. I want to make sure people taking class are following CDC guidelines and able to take a class from the comfort of their home.

If you enjoy dancing, then I know you have heard of the Step-Up Series. If you have not, then what have you been watching your whole life? The movements, the rhythm, the choreography and especially the dancers bring out so much energy. When I used to watch the Step-Up movies, I would be motivated to take a dance class or pursue my passion in becoming a professional dancer. I rarely ever saw any type of Latin dance in the movies, which made me curious on learning different genres of dance.

Now, let’s learn a little about my dance life. My friends on my social media platforms know I dance, but do not know that I have taught before. I used to be the captain of my high school's dance team and have choreographed dances. I do not share this with many people unless they ask. I also choreographed one halftime dance for the Diamonds Dance Team at Barry when I was a member. Also, as I have gotten older, I have focused on taking dance classes rather than teaching. However, I am always eager to take risks in which I have decided to try teaching a virtual dance class.

I hope you join me, to sweat, have fun, and most importantly have fun dancing for a cause! Tell your Mama, your boo, your Abuela, anybody to join this Reggaeton class. See you there!

I absolutely love reggaeton music but have never taken a class. I love that you found a way to be able to teach a class virtually during this pandemic. I think its great that you will be donating all the proceeds to Central Americans affected by the pandemic.

Sarah! I believe it's awesome that you will be instructing dance classes through these covid times. I love reggaetón, so i believe this is a great idea, and I will attend.

I've taken dance classes in the past like bachata or salsa but I've never tried reggaeton, this sounds like a lot of fun since I love this type of music! I'll write down the date so I can remember when this is coming up.

I have never been the biggest on dancing, but I know how popular it is in the world. The GIFs fit this post perfectly and I like how you mentioned how to keep dance going through the pandemic by using Zoom and other platforms. I also liked how you gave us insight on your own dance experience. This is a great post!
