There are songs for every mood in my opinion, whether you want to have a dance party in your room at 2:00 am or just vibe out and do homework. There is a mix of upbeat songs and calmer ones if you are in your feelings.
I was scrolling through my Instagram and saw a video Karol G had made with Spotify’s @Vivolatino account to promote the new album. The ending asked viewers to visit https://flywithkarolg.atspotify.com/ and I decided to do so. Once you open the page, it’s an engaging interactive plane and Karol G is welcoming you to her flight KG0516 on Tusa Airlines. Viewers can pick a destination on the globe map which includes her singles as “destinations.” After each song, she talks about the meaning and story behind the song.
I listened to the album last night and my top favorite songs are Gato Malo, Leyendas and 200 Copas. “Leyendas” includes several school Reggaeton hits, with a modern touch to it including Karol’s voice. Artists such as Ivy Queen, Wisin y Yandel, Nicky Jam, Zion, Alberto Stylee. While listening, if you scroll to the time frame of 4:37 , that beat, and rhythm is from Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams.” I thought it was refreshing take on the rhythm by adding a Reggaeton touch to it. Overall, these tracks were my ultimate favorites.
